VP, Design EngineeringAs Vice President of Design Engineering at Alliant, Jeff leads our expert pre-sales Engineering team in the design of critical business solutions for our customers. Jeff is responsible for all aspects of Design Engineering as defined in the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) model. This includes building and supporting our Reference Architectures, as well as driving our Technical Consultative Engagement (TCE) practice.
Prior to joining Alliant, Jeff spent 13 years at Cisco Systems where he held various roles, including Engineering Director for the Public Sector Partner Organization. In this role, Jeff and his team were responsible for supporting a diverse set of partners in their mission to meet the needs of public sectorcustomers. His organization led the development of a partner community that positioned and deployed architectural solutions tailored to specific vertical markets.
In addition, Jeff was a senior leader in the Field Partner Organization at Cisco, enabling partners to be successful across Commercial, Enterprise, and State, Local Government, and Education (SLED) business segments. Jeff held a leadership role in the direct sales organization, leading a team to support customer business needs in affiliation with Cisco Partners.
His career is not the only place Jeff puts his strong leadership skills to use. He is not only a coach for youth travel baseball in his hometown, but he runs the entire program. His favorite pastime is a simple one, but the most important of all — Jeff loves spending time with his family.
