Senior NetApp / VMware Engineer

Position Overview

Specific duties will include:

• Designing, developing and supporting virtualized server and storage solutions;
• Presales support;
• Creating Bills of Materials (BOMs) and project scopes;
• Creating client installation and configuration diagrams and documents;
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with partner engineering resources;
• Assisting with development of internal standard operating procedures;
• Presenting Alliant Technology vision at customer and partner events.

Requirements:

• At least 10 years experience in the IT industry, preferably from a consulting background;
• Substantial recent experience in designing, implementing, configuring and supporting large, complex VMware installations with NetApp storage;
• Experience in both pre- and post sales
• VCAP or VCDX VMware certification and/or the NCDA or NCIE NetApp certifications are preferred;
• Excellent customer facing and communication skills
• A strong drive to learn, grow and succeed;
• A passion for teaching/mentoring/sharing knowledge.
