AMS – IT Administrative Services
Alliant Managed Services combines its 24 x 7 Service Desk with key cloud-based and field support providers to deliver comprehensive end-user and site IT support based on its clients’ IT demands. From on-boarding a new employee or upgrading a server OS with a critical security patch to troubleshooting PC connectivity issues, AMS suite of Administrative services deliver comprehensive IT support to clients that match their individual IT support and budgetary requirements.
AMS Administrative services include:
SmoothIP: Cisco UC Administration & End User Support
An add-on service to AMS RMM and ER, SmoothIP adds end-user support to provide total telephony support for a Cisco Unified Communications platform. While RMM and ER manage the data center components and provide monitoring, engineering response to identified troubles, and the vendor management interface to Cisco, SmoothIP handles the day-to-day interface requirements for the system during normal operations, including user onboarding, MACD changes, and emergency access management. The service desk is available 24x7 for all their IP telephony needs.
Server Patch Management
Provides customers an outsourced option for managing Server OS, and begins with an onboarding inventory of installed hardware and software per device. Once established, AMS Server Patch Management continually compares current software versions to a list of available manufacturer software updates. Matching patch candidates are assigned for update based on priority, coordinated within client-defined maintenance windows. Patches are integrated, tested and moved into production, with AMS managing the end-to-end update process and reporting.
End User Computing & Help Desk Support
The AMS End User Help Desk and PC support desk provide technical support for end users via telephone toll free number and remote Internet desktop control. Help Desk staff are available to AMS clients to provide three levels of desktop support, from basic connectivity assistance to detailed application troubleshooting and support.
