AMS – Business Continuity Services
Alliant Managed Services (AMS)
Email Archive and eDiscovery
The AMS Email Archive and eDiscovery service provides Clients with assurance that all email messages coming into or leaving from an Enterprise are backed “up in the cloud.” Built on technology that was first offered in 2007, and leveraging our partnership with Sonian Inc. and Amazon Web Services, AMS provides assurance around email retention, and offers expanded search capability for email retrieval and eDiscovery. The AMS solution even allows web-based access for email processing for every user in the event of a serious email outage.
Partnered with Sonian, AMS offers an integrated email solution that stores Client data across two geographically dispersed Data Center Clusters, each spread across four physically separate data centers, inter-connected by fiber and attached to different power grids and Internet access points. Each is on a different flood plain, and further backed up by a European data center.
AMS will help the Client ingest needed legacy data, and index, compress, and encrypt that data for transfer into the Sonian data center clusters. Once loaded, archive data is supplemented by ongoing production updates from daily email production (100% email capture), creating a complete, secure secondary data store for email messages. This indexed data store even supports eDiscovery and litigation support, for email investigation at the corporate, department or individual user level. Integrated with Exchange/Outlook, the end user can use Boolean logic requests (“Google Search” interface) to find archived email and retrieve it for viewing or other processing.
With all data stored safely offsite, this email storage capability allows CLIENT to enforce reasonable email data limit policies for its local users, lowering email TCO. The solution is SEC, FINRA/NASD, SOX, HIPAA, and FRCP compliant and provides unlimited storage per user for a nominal monthly fee. The data is SSL encrypted during transmission to the offsite data center, and AES 256-bit encrypted to DoD standards within the remote data center, and 100% segregated from other Client data. The service provides turnkey support, with no Capital to assign and no hardware or software to buy.
