SmoothIP Cisco UC Administration and End-User Support
SmoothIP Administration is an add-on service to AMS’s Engineering Response service. With SmoothIP, AMS provides total Cisco US telephony support, including Vendor Management interface to Cisco, Invoiced Break/Fix for hardware failures, Fault Management and monitoring as described under AMS RMM and ER, and ongoing user support for all users of a Cisco IPT or Unified Communications platform.
Severity 1 and Severity 2 incidents related to telephony are covered as additional services within the Engineering Response service. SmoothIP Administration is intended to provide unlimited support for the following type of Telecommunications service cases:
- Severity 3 (S3) – Customer requires a password or login reset.
- Severity 4 (S4) - Customer requires information on or configuration assistance with the customer’s communications platform related systems when there is little or no effect on the Customer’s operations.
SmoothIP Admin provides client access to experienced engineering resources when the communications platform-related moves, adds, changes/deletes (MACDs) are necessary. SmoothIP Admin services are intended to address common system administration tasks performed on a telecommunications server or PBX, including:
- Resetting Passwords
- Providing Extensions
- Issuing and Managing Phones
- Managing User and Global directory
- Managing Extension mobility users and extension
- Troubleshooting phone issues for a particular User or extension
- Resolving problems with the voicemail system
- Adding and deleting Voicemail mail accounts
