Bruce Flitcroft
President and Chief Executive Officer
Bruce Flitcroft is president, CEO, senior principal and
founder of Alliant Technologies. His career spans over 800
Corporate IT projects. He has expertise in emerging
technologies, management of high-growth companies, key
technology alliances and navigating the evolution of enterprise
IT and E-commerce.
Before establishing Alliant, he was vice president of technology
services and a corporate officer for AlphaNet Solutions,
managing an engineering staff of 500 and establishing service
offerings. By 1996 the industry recognized the company as a top
systems integrator and one of the best-run small companies in
America.
Under Bruce's direction corporate annual sales grew from $20
million to $200 million, making AlphaNet one of the country's
top growth firms. With AlphaNet for eight years, he was the
primary presenter of the company to investors, clients and
employees.
Previously in his career Bruce was president of Datar IDS, Inc.,
a networking value-added reseller specializing in Novell network
implementations, building corporate WANs and premises
distribution cabling systems. Datar was one of the first
implementers of Novell Netware, early routing technologies and
use of twisted pair wiring for both Ethernet and Token Ring.
AlphaNet purchased Datar in 1990.
Bruce began his career as a contractor and vendor at AT&T Bell
Laboratories designing and implementing early Ethernet LAN
technologies.
Bruce is recognized as an accomplished speaker on IT industry
trends.
