AT&T Invites Sponsors To Join American Cancer Society's Fundraiser
"Relay For Life"
Bedminster, NJ, September 12, 2005 - AT&T is inviting
sponsors to compete in the first New Jersey-area "Tee It Up with AT&T"
National Charity Golf Tournament on Monday, October 17 at 9:00 a.m. at
Fiddler's Elbow Country Club in Far Hills, N.J. This fundraiser, which
is also being held in 20 other cities across the U.S. and Canada, is
part of AT&T's overall fundraising effort for the American Cancer
Society's "Relay For Life" program. AT&T's goal is to raise $1 million
through the national tournament and corporate team participation in
"Relay For Life" events across the country. A few of the area
sponsors include PSE&G, Alliant Technologies, Tyco, Pitman, and Liz
Claiborne. Individual players are also welcome and will be assigned to
foursomes. Golfers will be joined by Hall of Fame Cardinal Shortstop
Ozzie Smith and Basketball Great John Starks and will have the
opportunity to take away gifts and prizes. For more information or
