Alliant Technologies Achieves Most Innovative Partner Award from Cisco
Systems Inc.
Morristown, New Jersey - March 28, 2006 - Alliant
Technologies today announced that it was recognized by Cisco
Systems, Inc., during its annual Partner Summit, in San Diego,
California. The Cisco Partner Summit Theater Awards are conferred to
partners who meet and score the highest on a specific set of
requirements that are designed to identify the best channel partners
by theater. These include customer satisfaction, year over year
growth of Cisco sales and comply with the Cisco Channel Partner
Program.
Alliant's performance during the time period of January 1st through
November 1st 2005 was deemed exceptional in the following areas:
"Top Commercial Services Partner," "Most Innovative Partner," and
"Customer Advocacy Commercial Partner of the Year" for the Eastern
US.
Two of the many Cisco-based programs Alliant introduced in 2005 were
considered especially innovative by the selection panel. The first
was Alliant's SmoothIPT Telephony Solutions Suite. This integrated
portfolio for enterprises transitioning to VoIP is based on Cisco IP
communications solutions, and includes Alliant design,
implementation and full lifecycle support services. Clients may
purchase portions of the SmoothIP offer set, or select Enterprise
Managed IP Telephony service for fully managed, centralized VoIP
rented on a per-seat basis.
The second program Alliant introduced in 2005 included partnering
with both Cisco and AT&T to offer a bundled solution to build MPLS-based,
QoS networks to support voice, data and video traffic on a converged
backbone. The combination of Cisco inter-networking equipment, AT&T
IP network services, and Alliant engineering and project management
was a problem-solver for clients who would normally have to
integrate the platforms themselves.
