Systems/Network Technicians
We are looking for entry level engineers or recent technical school
graduates. Strong
background work with PCs required. Some server OS and/or networking
knowledge and
experience preferred.
You will be working on mid to large scale corporate IT projects
covering a wide variety of
emerging and existing technologies such as: network installation,
network optimization and
troubleshooting, VoIP implementation, voice, video and data
convergence, migrations, and data
center builds, and shift work for round the clock network monitoring.
You will work as part of a
team of talented and experienced engineers and have the opportunity to
be exposed to many
varied IT environments.
No previous experience required, but a degree in computer technology
or engineers is
necessary.
Specific duties will include:
- Interacting with clients and project managers
- Installing, configuring and supporting servers, Cisco routers,
switches, IPT equipment
- Providing on site support and maintenance
- Follow up documentation and knowledge transfer
- Client network monitoring in our on-site data center
Knowledge of or experience with the following:
- Network operating systems
- Cisco routers, firewalls, switches and inline switches
- Strong background in general networking technologies and
concepts
- Knowledge of Cisco IP Phones and devices helpful
- 3.5 GPA or higher
- CCNA, MCP or MCSE preferred.
We maintain a 24x7 data center. Your work week may include nights
and weekends.
You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and
work well in a team
environment.
